Role of a Housekeeping Assistant
You will be part of a friendly and diverse team starting work by ensuring you have the equipment. Through effective communication with the team, you will understand the areas to prioritise before you start your routine. Cleaning residents’ rooms and surrounding areas is a vital part of your role to support Managers in infection control. Completing visual checks, you will be able to keep the home to a high standard. Your role will require you to be caring towards others as you will have interaction with our residents. As a valued team member, you will have a one team work ethic and support other teams when needed. Before you head home, you will ensure your equipment is stocked and clean ready for the next day and complete any reporting and handovers.
We still apply COVID-19 protections for our residents and employees. Employees must have a minimum of two vaccinations and lateral flow tests will be required daily.
