Learning & Development Administrator job vacancy in Waterlooville, near Portsmouth

We’re recruiting a Learning & Development Administrator to provide a high-quality comprehensive administration service to the Learning and Development Department for all aspects of training and conference co-ordination and administration.

Cornerstone Healthcare is a team of healthcare professionals that operate currently across Curdridge and Waterlooville in Hampshire, specialising in neurological degenerative illness with complex mental and physical health issues and challenging behaviours.

Duties include…

Responsible for the organisation, coordinating and recording of all learning, training and development, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards as well as the administration of an effective and efficient training support system.

  • Accurately record and update training data using electronic data systems
  • Support in producing and updating organisational training material, including the use of PowerPoints, printing of training and induction materials and other resources in preparation for training events
  • Produce and distribute new employee induction packs
  • Monitor and enroll staff onto eLearning training systems
  • Effectively communicate joining instructions and information to delegates
  • Monitor the viability of training events, taking into consideration demand for the training
  • Monitor places booked for the course and ensure sufficient attendees
  • Accurately produce reports, statistics and training data
  • Generate certificates for internal courses and ensure that certification is obtained, recorded and distributed for externally led courses
  • Co-ordination and booking of training venues, organisation of refreshments and light lunches as required for training events
  • Co-ordinate the pre- and post-evaluation of all training undertaken and produce evaluation statistics
  • Travel to other centres to provide support when required as agreed and requested by the Learning and Development Manager
  • Undertake a programme of Continuing Professional Development that is appropriate to the role and consistent with any professional guidance
  • Keeping up-to-date with current issues and thinking within the fields of vocational qualifications, social care, management and training
  • To set up training venues with required resources
