All of our en-suite bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and can be personalised to each resident’s taste. To help make the bedrooms more homely, residents are encouraged to bring pictures and personal keepsakes.
Accessible by wheelchair, communal areas offer a range of lively, interactive and peaceful settings which are great for socialising, relaxing or spending time with guests.
Our dedicated activity co-ordinators provide stimulating pastimes tailored to residents’ own interests, encouraging them to lead and participate in as full and active a life as possible. Focused activity helps to keep minds active, improve appetite and sleep patterns, as well as being great fun!
Films, reading, listening to visiting musicians, tailored physical exercise, craft, poetry, gardening and knitting have always proved popular.
Dining at Kitnocks House
Enjoying food and the overall dining experience is important to many people. Our experienced chefs use the best ingredients when creating our delicious homemade meals and snacks. Before a new resident arrives at Kitnocks House we always ask about particular likes and dislikes, as well as any special dietary needs, ensuring we cater for these immediately.
We encourage visits from friends and family anytime.
Prospective residents and their family are encouraged to visit Kitnocks before making the decision about any placement.
