Admission Criteria
We specialise in supporting individuals with complex care needs including neuro-progressive conditions such as advanced dementias, Korsakoffs, Huntington’s Disease and Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injuries. Often our residents may also have a mental health condition, learning disability, or physical health needs that we are able to support through our experienced multidisciplinary nursing and care teams.
Eligibility:
- We offer female only, male only and mixed units within each of our homes and can accept any one over the age of 18 years.
- We will always assess on an individual basis carefully considering whether we can meet the needs of the person including if our setting is the best fit for their wellbeing.
We can accommodate:
- Residents on Section 17 leave, Section 117 aftercare, and guardianship orders
- Individuals with challenging presentations, including aggression, self-harm, disruptiveness, and sexually disinhibited behaviours
- Those with underlying mental health issues, and behaviours that challenge (including noncompliance with medication, not eating/drinking, or high risk of falls)
