Why choose Cornerstone Healthcare?
At Cornerstone Healthcare we care for people with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurological, physical and mental health needs. We are one of the few specialist providers of this type of care and we are the only provider with this as our sole focus in the South East of England.
“At Cornerstone, we see things differently; we do things differently”
Our residents primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Huntington’s Disease, MND, Parkinson’s or a form of Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
Our placements rarely breakdown – when a resident is admitted they will be with us for the rest of their lives, avoiding distressing and unnecessary relocation to another home
- Specialist training for all staff; from nurses, to kitchen staff, carers and cleaners, enabling them to care for people with complex challenging behaviours
Psychological support for staff to avoid stress and burn out meaning everyone is able to focus on caring for our residents
Resident assessments allow care plans and risk assessments to be in place prior to admission and ensures we have appropriate nursing care, staffing levels and equipment
Optimising residents’ quality of life is the primary goal of every single member of the Cornerstone Healthcare team
We are supported by dedicated and skilled nursing, occupational therapy, care, activity, housekeeping and maintenance staff
Our staff are loyal and love their jobs, some staff have been providing specialist care at Cornerstone Healthcare for over 25 years
